We want to empower teams to build As Serverless as Possible (ASAP) within their organization. The goal is to keep teams focused on delivering software with confidence by making it easy to build your team, measure user impact, and integrate with your existing tool chains.
We started the serverless movement with the Serverless Framework. Our open source ecosystem for deploying Serverless apps and quickly realized that users need a way to monitor the usage of their apps. Serverless Dashboard fills that gap but customers have told us more is needed to let teams truly scale. Serverless Console is the next generation Operations Console for teams.
Console will eventually replace the Dashboard. Console will have all the Dashboard features as well as additional features such as curated dashboards. Continue using features such as alerts, user management, secrets and parameters.
Serverless Console allows you to choose how you want to deploy and will work beyond apps deployed with Serverless Framework to a wide variety of popular services from AWS such as Lambda, Fargate, API-Gateway, Apollo and more. Additionally, we plan on supporting integrations for higher level services such as Twilio, Stripe and Cloudflare.
Yes. Both of these products are being rolled out as customer previews and will be integrated in a future release.
